Connecting to AWS
CloudNito uses secure connections to access your AWS accounts, enabling our AI-powered cost optimization features. This guide will help you set up your first AWS connection.
Prerequisites:
AWS Organizations with consolidated billing enabled
AWS Cost and Usage Report enabled in your AWS Management account
Cost Allocation Tagging Configuration (highly recommended)
Connection Process:
Log into your CloudNito dashboard
Navigate to Settings > AWS Account
Click "Add AWS Account"
Use your Amazon credentials to log in From Automated Setup.
Click on “Create Stack”
Give it some time to finish connecting.
CloudNito's AWS Access:
Read-only access to cost, usage data, and relevant metadata
No access to data unless explicitly authorized
Uses minimum required permissions for cost optimization features
